Role Summary
Cloud Solutions Architect to lead enterprise cloud initiatives across AWS and Google Cloud Platform environments. This role involves cloud architecture, migration strategy, security, AI/ML solutions, and stakeholder collaboration within a regulated government environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures
Lead cloud migration strategies from on-prem to AWS/Google Cloud Platform
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards
Architect solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
Support and guide AI/ML, Deep Learning, and Generative AI initiatives
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
Create reference architectures, runbooks, and documentation
Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and cloud costs
Required Qualifications
10+ years architecting enterprise applications (on-prem & cloud)
8+ years cloud architecture experience (AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform)
8+ years cloud-native application architecture
8+ years experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
8+ years experience in AI / ML / Deep Learning using AWS or Google technologies
Preferred Skills
Cloud networking (VPC/VNET, VPN, DNS, load balancers, firewalls)
Cloud security, IAM, encryption, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation
Programming: Python, Java, C#, scripting
Microservices, serverless, API design (REST/SOAP)
AWS services: Bedrock, SageMaker, Redshift, EC2, EMR, Kinesis
Google AI: Vertex AI, Agent Builder
Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
