Overview
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Medical Affairs to serve as a strategic and operational leader within the US Medical Affairs Oncology organization. This role supports Community Cancer Collective (CCC) and Strategic Evidence & Collaborations (SEC) initiatives, partnering cross-functionally to drive operational excellence, strategic planning, and execution across high-impact medical programs.
This position is open to candidates with an Oncology and/or Virology background and may be based in Parsippany, NJ or Foster City, CA. While the role can be hybrid or remote, candidates must be local to commute to the site when needed.
Note: This role is identical to another currently open position but supports a separate Sr Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and operational execution across CCC and SEC initiatives, including work plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Provide meeting and program management support for CCC/SEC-led team meetings and cross-functional collaborations
- Utilize data and analytics to identify performance opportunities, track productivity, and monitor KPIs tied to operational excellence
- Support execution of CCC and SEC strategies, including launch planning where applicable
- Manage and support ongoing enhancements to the CCC Dashboard and similar tools used by the SEC team
- Facilitate training within US Medical Affairs on CCC/SEC playbooks, processes, and new operational frameworks
- Prepare and manage internal communications, including emails, leadership updates, presentations, and program reviews
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred)
- Senior Manager: 2+ years of experience in Medical Affairs
Associate Director: 5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs - Experience supporting oncology and/or virology programs
- Proven track record of leading projects and driving operational excellence
- Strong project management, strategic planning, and organizational skills
- Experience working cross-functionally and with external partners
- Working knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and legal requirements in Medical Affairs operations
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting evidence generation, medical strategy, or medical operations initiatives
- Strong data analysis and performance tracking capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- Hybrid or remote role with periodic onsite presence required
- Standard business hours, Monday through Friday
