Job Summary
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to provide L1/L2 support for mobile and backend applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in incident management, application monitoring, and ServiceNow, along with a basic understanding of Android/iOS platforms, Java, and SQL. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Application & Production Support
-
Provide L1/L2 support for Android and iOS applications.
-
Monitor application health and performance using monitoring tools.
-
Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues within defined SLAs.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes or workarounds.
Incident & Ticket Management
-
Manage incidents, service requests, and problems using ServiceNow.
-
Escalate issues to development or infrastructure teams when required.
-
Ensure proper documentation and closure of tickets.
Technical Support
-
Support applications developed in Java.
-
Perform basic SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Assist with application deployments, patches, and releases.
Communication & Coordination
-
Communicate effectively with business users, QA, and development teams.

Provide regular status updates and incident reports.

Participate in on-call support and shift-based operations, if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Android and iOS applications

Working knowledge of Java

Strong understanding of SQL (queries, joins, data analysis)

Experience with ServiceNow for incident and ticket management

Knowledge of application monitoring tools (APM, logs, alerts)
Soft Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment

Experience in production support / application support
