Overview:

Seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect to design and build modern Azure-based data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse, SQL) and Azure Data Factory

• Build & maintain metadata-driven Lakehouse architecture

• Develop agent-specific data lakes and orchestration layers for cross-agent queries

• Enable data consumption via Power BI, Azure OpenAI, and analytics tools

• Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and security

• Collaborate with product teams to deliver scalable, cost-optimized solutions

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years in data engineering with Azure data stack

• Strong expertise in:

  • Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Notebooks)

  • Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, ADLS Gen2

  • Power BI

  • SQL, Python, PySpark or Scala

• Experience with JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet

• Ability to build metadata-driven architectures & reusable components

• Understanding of data modeling, governance, security

• Excellent executive-level written & verbal communication

• Plus: knowledge of agent-based architectures & conversational AI
