Pay Range - $60 to $65 per hour

Overview
We are seeking a Civil Site Engineer to support land development and site engineering efforts for large-scale utility and infrastructure projects. This role supports a newly formed team responsible for preparing developable land ( pads ) that enable downstream construction activities. The engineer will manage multiple projects concurrently and partner with internal stakeholders and third-party engineering firms throughout planning, design, and construction phases.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform land development and site engineering, including:
- Manage projects across the full lifecycle: planning, design, and construction
- Support 10+ active projects at a time with tightly managed deadlines
- Typical project duration: approximately 18 month
- Collaborate with 2 3 engineers or stakeholders per project phase
- Oversee and coordinate work performed by third-party engineering firms
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and regulatory requirements
- Partner with internal design teams to ensure sites are fully prepared prior to construction
Required Qualifications
- 4 7 years of relevant civil or site engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license Required
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering
- Other engineering degrees considered only in rare cases
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Demonstrated construction management experience
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under strict timelines
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior experience with land development projects
- Local permitting knowledge (city and county-level requirements)
- Familiarity with TxDOT standards and coordination
- Houston / Harris County experience strongly preferred
- Utility, energy, or infrastructure project exposure
