Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HRMS & Payroll Business Consultant to serve as a subject matter expert supporting HRMS and Payroll systems within Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2. This role will partner closely with HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll Tax teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, statutory compliance, and successful UAT execution across HR and Payroll functions.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.2
Deep functional expertise in HRMS & Payroll
Proven experience supporting UAT planning and execution
Solid understanding of payroll accounting, payroll tax, and compliance
Experience working in hybrid business/IT environments
Key Responsibilities
HRMS & Payroll UAT Leadership
Own UAT strategy, scope, schedule, and entry/exit criteria
Coordinate UAT efforts across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and partner teams
Manage UAT execution, risks, defect prioritization, and resolution
Validate critical defect fixes and obtain formal UAT sign-off
UAT Planning & Execution
Prepare and maintain HRMS & Payroll UAT scripts
Coordinate test execution and track progress, defects, and metrics
Maintain defect logs, test evidence, and UAT completion reports
Support retesting cycles and final UAT reporting
HRMS Functional Testing
Execute UAT for:
Core HR
Employee lifecycle transactions
Benefits eligibility
Employee onboarding
Absence management
Security roles
Validate HR data accuracy and reporting
Log, retest, and resolve defects
Provide HRMS functional sign-off
Payroll Testing & Validation
Execute payroll UAT cycles including:
Regular payroll
Off-cycle payroll
Retro payroll
Bonus payroll
Validate:
Earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and net pay
Payroll registers and payslips
Payroll costing and General Ledger (GL) interfaces
Support parallel payroll runs (if applicable)
Provide Payroll sign-off
Compliance & Financial Controls
Validate statutory compliance and payroll accounting
Ensure accuracy of GL postings
Support audit and control requirements
Partner with Payroll Tax teams to manage:
Multi-state payroll tax setups
SUI / SUTA
Local tax jurisdictions
Reciprocity rules
Supplemental wage tax logic
Withholding rules
