Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET with a strong programming background to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in coding and a passion for ensuring software quality through automation and robust test strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test automation.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
• Ensure scalability and reliability of automation solutions across multiple projects.

Required Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java, (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with BDD Cucumber and Rest Assured.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (OCP, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Work Conditions

• Location: Onsite at San Leandro, CA.
• Must be available for collaboration with development teams during core business hours.
