Senior Integration Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Integration Architect in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Define and govern enterprise integration architecture, standards, and patterns across MuleSoft, messaging, and cloud technologies
* Establish API design guidelines for REST/SOAP services, ensuring security, versioning, and lifecycle management
* Oversee integration design reviews, code quality, and delivery for internal teams and vendors
* Maintain integration documentation, governance models, and reusable frameworks
* Align integration architecture with business strategy and develop roadmaps
* Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance requirement
* Lead risk assessment, issue resolution, and mentor integration engineers
* Research and incorporate new tools and techniques into enterprise standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field
* MuleSoft Architect or related certifications preferred
* 8-10+ years of IT experience
* 5-7+ years of experience in integration architecture
* Extensive experience designing enterprise integrations with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Runtime Fabric, and API-led patterns
* Skilled in architecting integrations across platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, AWS services)
* Strong understanding of Java-based runtimes, messaging frameworks, ESBs; hands-on development a plus
* Proficient with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, WAF) and integration security (TLS, OAuth 2.0, JWT, certificate management)
* Familiar with XML/JSON schemas, Azure OAuth & JWT
* Working knowledge of SVN, Git, SOAPUI, Postman; experience with CI/CD pipelines
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
* Proven leadership in guiding integration architecture across teams and vendors
* Excellent design, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
