We need: A mid-level (3-8 years) Desktop Support Engineer with very good experience working with Microsoft Sute (Microsoft 365, Intune, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint Windows 11, Azure Virtual Desktop, Active Directory, Group Policy, Powershell ,Microsoft Authenticator, iPhone, iPad, Android) as well as SCCM. CANDIDATES NEED TO HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE WORKING IN FINANCIAL COMPANIES LIKE BANKS OR CAPITAL MARKETS AND HEDGE FUNDS.
Location: Hybrid NYC/Midtown No Relocation Candidates must be onsite day one and go into the office FOUR times a week.

Job Description:
We are looking for a colleague to join a global team of highly motivated support engineers in the financial industry. With a community of approximately 300 users, you will work closely with the Support team and System / Network engineering teams to provide all tiers of support. Excellent customer service and communication / writing skills are required. Must be open to occasional after-hours work as needed.
The ideal candidate has an enthusiastic customer-facing personality with analytical, technical, and critical thinking skills as well as a growth mindset.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop strong relationships with the user community by providing white-glove in-person and remote support services for the firm's technology stack which include OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook / Exchange, Global Protect, Lenovo X1 laptops, Virtual Desktops, and more
- Collaborate with a global team to complete long-term and short-term projects with technical expertise and detailed execution
- Partner with systems, network, and application teams to provide reliable and scalable solutions
- Ability to work with top level executives including CEOs, CFOs, Managing Directors, Traders, and the like in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Exhibit a customer facing mindset that portrays enthusiasm, curiosity, and drive. Seeks to bring value to any size task given to them.
- Evangelize innovation by gathering business requirements and connecting users with new technologies through training, documentation, and everyday discussion
- Problem-solving: must possess good analytical skills and the ability to review logs/behavior/events to help determine if problems are imminent and develop solutions before or when they occur to resolve quickly.
Background and Qualifications:
- 3 8 years of experience in a similar role in the financial industry is preferred
