Summary
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Full Stack .NET Programmer-Analyst for an onsite role in Long Island City, NY to provide application development and technical support services across the full software development life cycle. Candidates with an active LinkedIn preferred. This role is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining distributed, scalable web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and modern front-end frameworks. The consultant works closely with technical leadership, project managers, and end users to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions that meet defined architectural standards and business requirements.

MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not meet the mandatory requirements will not be considered.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience developing professional applications using Microsoft .NET (C# 4.0/4.5/4.6)
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in web development using ASP.NET Core
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Angular and React
- Strong understanding of CI/CD deployments
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), application architecture, and design patterns
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET MVC 5, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience developing distributed and scalable web applications
- Sound knowledge of REST-based Web APIs, WCF, LINQ, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and Dot Connect for Oracle
- Experience working with REST and SOAP services and data formats including XML and JSON
- Proficiency with Oracle 10g/11g/12c and SQL Server 2012/2019 relational databases
- Ability to create and modify stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, views, materialized views, and database links
- Experience with PL/SQL and MS SQL
- Experience with Node.js and Webpack
- Hands-on experience using TFS and Git, including source control management, build processes, unit testing, and deployment
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Develop distributed and scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core, Angular, and ASP.NET MVC 5
- Serve as a key member of the core development team, participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Contribute to application design and architecture, including front-end frameworks such as Angular and React
- Collaborate with technical project managers and application directors to ensure project schedules and expectations are met
- Work directly with end users to gather and analyze requirements and perform analysis, documentation, design, coding, and testing
- Develop and maintain user documentation and manuals
- Maintain, enhance, and upgrade existing applications in alignment with defined architectural standards
- Support implementation efforts including UAT, environment setup, and end-user support
- Utilize internal project tools to report activities and provide ongoing project status updates
