Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer--W2 Role--

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud-native data engineering, ETL development, and big data processing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services

• Build and optimize data solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL

• Develop data pipelines using Dataflow (Apache Beam), Dataproc (Spark), or similar tools

• Collaborate with data analysts, business teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements

• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance of pipelines

• Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tuning

• Follow best practices for security, governance, and cost optimization on Google Cloud Platform

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

• Expertise in BigQuery

• Experience with Dataflow / Dataproc / Cloud Composer

• Proficiency in SQL and Python

• Strong experience in ETL/ELT and data warehousing concepts

• Experience working with large datasets and distributed systems

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Airflow

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Kafka / PubSub

• Google Cloud Platform certifications are a plus
