Job Title: Full Stack Developer

The NYC Department of Education is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both client-side and server-side development and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing client-side and server-side architecture
Building intuitive, responsive user interfaces and application screens
Developing, optimizing, and maintaining databases and backend applications
Designing and writing secure, efficient APIs
Testing applications to ensure performance, responsiveness, and reliability
Troubleshooting and resolving application defects
Implementing security and data protection best practices
Developing mobile-responsive features and applications
Assisting in the creation of technical documentation
Ensuring all code and deliverables align with business requirements and standards
Required Experience:
6+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
Strong knowledge of modern frontend and backend technologies
Experience building secure, scalable, and responsive web applications
