Location: 100% Remote

Engagement: 10+ Months Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant with strong, hands-on expertise in JD Edwards (JDE) Financials. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to support, enhance, and optimize JDE Financial modules while operating remotely during CT business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support functional activities for JDE Financials, including requirement analysis, solution design, and system configuration.
• Provide hands-on expertise across JDE Financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cost Accounting.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support JDE implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing production support.
• Work closely with technical teams to support integrations, customizations, and reports.
• Perform functional testing, UAT support, and issue resolution.
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to end users.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for JDE Financial processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as a JDE Functional Consultant, with deep expertise in JDE Financials.
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting processes.
• Experience in system configuration, troubleshooting, and functional support.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
