We have an immediate opportunity for a Technology Architect specializing in Data Management and Data Architecture to support an 8-month engagement based in Chicago, IL , with an onsite requirement of at least two days per week at the client location.
In this position, the consultant will leverage deep expertise in AWS Cloud to design and build scalable enterprise data platforms, modern data pipelines, and an enterprise data fabric. The architect will be responsible for governing data standards across the organization, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance, while also guiding engineering teams on architectural best practices and performance optimization. Exposure to Gen AI concepts and use cases is a strong plus, particularly as they relate to modern data platforms.
To be successful in this position, one needs to be a seasoned Data Architect with 10+ years of overall experience, extensive hands-on knowledge of AWS and cloud-based data architectures, and the ability to lead and influence teams on complex architectural decisions. While no specific certifications are required, strong real-world experience designing and governing enterprise-scale data solutions is essential.
