Job : Epic Principal Trainer - Resolute HB & PB

seeking an experienced Epic-certified Principal Trainer in Resolute Hospital Billing and Resolute Professional Billing to lead the design, delivery, and maintenance of role-based Epic training programs and training environments across the Epic ecosystem.
This role serves as a subject-matter expert and educator, ensuring high-quality training content, effective delivery, and ongoing support for state staff and end users.

Required Epic Certifications (must be current at time of hire)

• Resolute Hospital Billing Curriculum Certification

• Resolute Professional Billing Curriculum Certification

• TED105 Training Wheels: Behind the Scenes

• TED300 Training Environment Build

Responsibilities

Curriculum & Content Development

• Design, develop, and maintain role-based Epic training curricula

• Create instructional materials, classroom exercises, and policy/procedure documentation

• Use Microsoft Office and Epic training tools to develop content

• Incorporate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve training programs

• Learn new Epic content areas and collaborate with subject matter experts for accuracy

Training Environment (MST)

• Build, refresh, and test MST training environments

• Validate Epic workflows, roles, and training scenarios

• Provide environment support and troubleshooting

• Coordinate with technical teams for environment readiness

Training Delivery & Facilitation

• Co-facilitate classroom and virtual training sessions

• Support learners during hands-on Epic exercises

• Prepare lessons, materials, and training environments prior to sessions

• Clearly present technical and functional information to diverse audiences

• Provide post-class follow-up and additional learner support

Educator & Mentor

• Serve as an expert educator for state staff

• Lead train-the-trainer efforts, including credentialing and coaching trainers

• Teach technical and workflow-based topics to staff and end users as needed

Planning & Administration

• Manage application assignments by prioritizing tasks and creating schedules

• Ensure adherence to training timelines and deliverables

• Support curriculum and training development for third-party applications

Required Skills & Experience

• Epic-certified Principal Trainer experience

• Strong expertise in Resolute HB & PB

• Experience designing and delivering role-based Epic training

• Hands-on experience with MST training environments

• Strong instructional design and documentation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

• Ability to teach both technical and non-technical audiences

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Experience collaborating with clinical, technical, and operational teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting state or large healthcare organizations

• Experience training on third-party healthcare applications

• Experience with virtual training platforms
