ServiceNow Architect
Role Summary
The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for translating business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions. This role provides architectural leadership across ServiceNow modules, ensures adherence to platform best practices and coding standards, and governs solution design for integrations, workflows, and enterprise implementations.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
- Translate business and functional requirements into end-to-end ServiceNow architectural solutions
- Define solution architecture across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and other ServiceNow modules
- Ensure all development aligns with ServiceNow best practices, platform guidelines, and architectural standards
- Review and approve technical designs to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance
Platform Governance & Standards
- Establish and enforce coding standards, development guidelines, and design patterns
- Ensure all customizations and configurations go through proper architectural review
- Minimize technical debt and avoid over-customization
- Govern reuse of components, integrations, and workflows
Integrations & Automation
- Design and oversee new integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub
- Ensure integration architecture follows security, performance, and data integrity standards
- Lead design and optimization of workflows, Flow Designer, and automation frameworks
CMDB, ITOM & Data Optimization
- Provide architectural leadership for CMDB design, data modeling, and normalization
- Ensure CMDB compliance, data quality, and alignment with CSDM
- Design and optimize ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and integrations
- Drive data optimization strategies across ServiceNow modules
Delivery & Collaboration
- Work closely with developers, functional consultants, and stakeholders to guide implementation
- Support Agile delivery teams with architectural direction and design decisions
- Review and validate solutions before deployment to production
- Provide technical mentorship to development teams

Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Architect
- Strong hands-on experience across ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and platform capabilities
- Proven experience with:
- Workflow and Flow Designer
- Integrations (REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server)
- CMDB, CSDM, data normalization, and reconciliation
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow performance optimization and security
- Ability to define and enforce coding standards and architectural governance

Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, CIS (ITSM/ITOM)
- Experience in large-scale or enterprise ServiceNow implementations
- Strong communication skills for customer-facing architectural discussions
