We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Processing Engineer to join our client's expanding team across NW Arkansas facilities. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence manufacturing processes through innovative equipment design, process optimization, and leading capital projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all phases of capital projects, from initial concept development to successful implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Design, analyze, and refine equipment layouts to maximize production efficiency, safety, and workflow.
- Identify opportunities for waste reduction and process improvements, implementing best practices to enhance operational performance.
- Oversee and track engineering initiatives, managing project timelines, resource allocation, and documentation to ensure seamless execution.
- Evaluate packaging solutions to meet operational, safety, and product quality standards, providing recommendations aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Leadership—to support project success and operational excellence.
- Provide expert technical support, documentation, and training related to process changes and new equipment installations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Processing, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Required).
- 2–5 years of experience in processing, manufacturing, or a similar engineering environment (Preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency with CAD design software for equipment layout and process visualization.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including Gantt chart development and data analysis, along with overall proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating across diverse teams.
