Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler with 13+ years of hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale data models and architectures within financial services. The role requires deep expertise in data modeling, cloud data platforms, governance, and performance optimization, supporting high-volume transactional and analytical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver conceptual, logical, and physical data models using tools such as Erwin.

• Build highly performant ODS and near real-time data warehouses using Kimball and Inmon methodologies.

• Develop and optimize data models on Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, and MongoDB.

• Lead data modeling sessions with Business, IT, BI, and SOR stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable designs.

• Support event-driven and streaming-based data architectures aligned with microservices and DDD principles.

• Establish data standards, governance frameworks, and reusable data assets ensuring a single version of truth.

• Perform data analysis, profiling, and source-to-target mappings for complex financial datasets (payments, cards, accounts).

• Utilize SQL and Python for data analysis, automation, monitoring, and data movement across systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 13+ years of hands-on data modeling experience in financial services.

• Strong expertise in ER, Logical, Physical, and Conceptual data modeling.

• Advanced SQL, Snowflake, and performance tuning skills.

• Experience with data governance, metadata management, and lineage.

• Excellent communication skills with ability to mentor junior team members.

• Experience with event-driven architectures, DDD, Data Mesh, and cloud-based data platforms preferred.
