Job Title : Senior Data Scientist / Lead Data Scientist / Principal Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Translate vague business challenges into actionable data science projects, identify new opportunities, and influence data strategy.
Model Development & Deployment: Design, build, train, and deploy scalable ML/AI models (e.g., recommendation engines, predictive models, LLM-based systems) into production, ensuring reliability.
Advanced Analytics: Apply statistical methods, data mining, and experimentation (A/B testing) to solve complex problems in optimization, personalization, and anomaly detection.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to understand needs and communicate complex findings effectively.
Mentorship & Best Practices: Mentor junior data scientists, promote data governance, and ensure adherence to MLOps (Model Operations) and data privacy standards.
Technical Execution: Lead end-to-end project lifecycle, manage data pipelines, build dashboards, and maintain production code.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: 10+ years in data science, analytics, or related quantitative fields.
Programming: Expert in Python/R, SQL; familiarity with C++, Java is a plus.
Machine Learning: Deep understanding of ML/DL, NLP, LLMs (GPT, Gemini), PyTorch, Transformers, RAG.
Big Data: Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Databricks (MLflow, Unity Catalog).
Tools: GitHub, data visualization tools (D3.js, Plotly).
Education: Master's/Ph.D. in CS, Stats, Math, or related field preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and storytelling with data.

Increased retention, revenue, or efficiency through deployed models.
Improved data quality/processing pipelines.
Actionable insights for business decisions, clear technical documentation.
