Role Overview

The Senior Security Architect is responsible for securing enterprise information by defining security requirements and designing, implementing, and testing comprehensive security solutions. This role has a strong focus on application security, requiring hands-on AppSec and/or DevSecOps experience and a proven ability to support and partner with software development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine enterprise security requirements and translate them into actionable architectures and controls
• Plan, implement, test, and maintain security systems across on-prem, disaster recovery (DR), and cloud environments
• Develop and maintain security standards, policies, and procedures
• Evaluate network and security technologies to design scalable and secure solutions
• Architect and support:
• Local Area Networks (LANs)
• Wide Area Networks (WANs)
• Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
• Routers, firewalls, and related network/security devices
• Design and implement Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, including:
• Certification Authorities (CAs)
• Digital certificates and digital signatures
• Hardware- and software-based cryptographic solutions
• Ensure adherence to industry security standards and best practices
• Partner closely with software development teams to:
• Embed security into the SDLC
• Support secure application design and deployment
• Enable DevSecOps practices and automation
• Enhance security team effectiveness by:
• Planning and delivering security solutions
• Answering technical and procedural questions
• Teaching improved processes and best practices
• Mentoring and developing team members

Required Focus & Experience

• Strong background in Application Security (AppSec) and/or DevSecOps
• Demonstrated experience supporting and advising software development teams
• Proven track record of integrating security into modern development pipelines
