RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Senior Associate or Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into detailed technical specifications
* Conduct analysis of business requirements and processes for data centric projects
* Responsible for gathering and writing data requirements
* Translate business requirements into data mapping specifications
* Develop a thorough understanding of the data definitions, domain values, data relationships, business rules, sources, and data integration used in the business domain
* Troubleshoot data issues and work with data providers for resolution
* Work with Data Engineers who will implement technical solutions to meet business requirements
* Support developers with data subject expertise
* Support phases of project development, from analysis and design to testing and implementation
* Ensure that technology solutions meet the defined requirements
* Understanding of data quality and data governance
* Provide ongoing support and training to business users on the new or revised systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* At least 7 years of financial industry technology experience and knowledge of financial services data
* Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling
* Strong SQL query skills
* Experience with SDLC
* Strong analytical, profiling and troubleshooting skills
* Strong knowledge with Big Data/Hadoop platform
* Strong business analysis and requirements definition skills
* Strong stakeholder presentation skills
* Solid organization and planning skills
* Good verbal and written communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
