Position: Senior Security Analyst

Location: Qubec Place de la Cit, Tour Cominar, 2460 Laurier Boulevard, Suite 400, Qubec, G1V 5C1

As part of the evolution of its technological systems, the organization aims to strengthen the integration of information security best practices at all stages of its projects. The Security Analyst acts as the information security lead for the initiatives assigned to them. They actively support teams throughout the project lifecycle and take into account existing policies, directives, regulatory requirements, and the current technological environment to formulate relevant recommendations.

The role reports to the Information Security team and acts as an advisor to architecture, business, and delivery teams.

Key Activities

• Active participation in projects as the security lead
• Risk analysis, recommendations, and architectural support
• Production of required security deliverables
• Close collaboration with technical and organizational teams

Responsibilities

• Assist architects in designing secure architectures
• Consider business needs and organizational capabilities when making recommendations
• Review overall project security, perform gap analyses, and propose remediation plans
• Analyze project-related risks and recommend appropriate technological and organizational security measures
• Act as an advisor on information security issues
• Contribute to the development of security procedures and standards
• Produce required security deliverables, such as security opinions, security files, risk analyses and follow-ups, security sections of RFPs, procedures, and guides

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Specialization in security support for organizational BI environments (Power BI, Databricks, Power Platform, Fabric)
• Ability to support Agile projects, including identification, mitigation, and monitoring of security risks
• Strong knowledge of security related to Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience in evaluating and implementing security controls
• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of security, identity, and governance issues related to Power BI, Databricks, and Fabric
• Experience with Purview, Power Platform, and Power Automate
• Ability to assess technological security components and formulate recommendations
• Ability to clearly explain risks and present effectively to management
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
