About the roleAs a Reworld intern, you'll take part in meaningful, hands-on projects that drive Reworld's business of transforming waste into value. Interns contribute to real sustainability initiatives while learning from experienced professionals who lead with safety, integrity, and customer focus. You'll be encouraged to share ideas, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and take accountability for impactful work that supports a smarter, more sustainable future.
What You'll Do: - Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
- Conduct security assessments and audits.
- Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents.
- Conduct research on emerging security threats and technologies.
- Assist in the development of security awareness training programs for employees.
- Analyze event data and create reports for senior information security staff.
Who You Are: - Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
- Knowledgeable of security concepts and technologies.
- Familiar with security tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated self-starter who is passionate about sustainability and interested in learning more about innovative waste solutions.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, safety-oriented environment.
