Description
We are looking for a skilled Digital Asset Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee the organization, accessibility, and maintenance of digital assets while ensuring adherence to industry standards. The position requires someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in metadata management, taxonomy development, and digital file organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead the migration and organization of digital assets into the new platform.
Establish and enforce metadata standards, taxonomy frameworks, and tagging procedures.
Maintain asset integrity by ensuring proper version control and rights management.
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and operations teams to streamline asset accessibility.
Train internal teams on best practices and efficient use of the digital asset management system.
Monitor system performance and address any technical issues promptly.
Ensure all digital assets comply with licensing and copyright regulations.
Support marketing and creative efforts by providing organized and easily accessible digital resources.
Develop workflows to optimize asset management processes.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in Digital Asset Management or related librarian roles.
Proficiency in metadata creation, taxonomy structures, and file organization.
Strong understanding of digital asset platforms and workflows.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Familiarity with creative file formats, including images, videos, and audio.
Background in marketing, creative services, or content operations is preferred.
