The SAP S/4HANA Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP S/4HANA–based solutions focused on Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Sales & Distribution (SD). This role partners closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and deliver end-to-end SAP solutions that optimize sales, distribution, and utility operations. The consultant will play a key role in driving process efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction within Energy and Utilities environments.

< data-start="841" data-end="868">Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA SCM and SD solutions aligned with client business needs.

• Deliver SAP Work and Asset Management (WAM) solutions across multiple utilities commodities (gas, electric, water, wastewater).

• Support end-to-end SAP IS-U (Device and Work Management) implementations from project preparation through go-live.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to integrate SAP with GIS, mobility, and field service applications.

• Provide solution architecture, configuration, testing, and deployment support.

• Guide clients on best practices for utilities operations, compliance, and process optimization.

< data-start="1532" data-end="1567">Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Gas Transmission and Distribution, including crew management, FERC accounting, capital construction, regulatory compliance, and GIS integration.

• Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA WAM and SAP IS-U, including a minimum of four full lifecycle implementations (at least two within Energy & Utilities).

• Experience delivering solutions as a Management Consultant or Solution Architect.

• Deep understanding of WAM processes, workflows, and end-to-end integration with enterprise systems.

• Leadership and project management experience, including planning, resource management, and delivery governance.

• Working knowledge of Energy & Utilities industry operations.

• Familiarity with AI use cases in SAP implementations and cybersecurity/data privacy principles.

• Exposure to additional SAP modules (MM, IM, WM, PM, PS), SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerPlan, and SAP IS-U.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or IBM Cloud.

• Hands-on experience with Agile project methodologies.
