We re seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineering Lead to design and manage scalable, automated data pipelines on the Astronomer Airflow platform. This role combines data engineering excellence with workflow orchestration expertise to build robust, cloud-native data solutions.
Develop and maintain YAML-based DAGs using Astronomer, or Astro SDK
Design and orchestrate ETL/ELT workflows across AWS, Azure.
Integrate pipelines with Snowflake and Databricks for data transformation and delivery
Create Hooks and Connectors for Astronomer to interact with ETL platforms like Talend, BI platforms like Power BI, Tableau and Data Quality platforms and generic API connectivity
Implement CI/CD pipelines, ensure data workflow reliability, and monitor performance
Establish best practices for DAG design, observability, and governance
10 12 years of experience in data engineering with 5+ in data pipeline orchestration using airflow
3+ Years of experience on Astronomer Platform.
Strong proficiency in Python, YAML, and Apache Airflow (preferably Astronomer-managed)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
Experience on with Terraform, dbt, and data observability frameworks.
