Job Title: FTP Setup Assistance/ MOVEit DR Implementation Specialist

Location: Remte

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MOVEit Application & Disaster Recovery (DR) Implementation Specialist to support the design, build, and configuration of a new Disaster Recovery site in Texas. The role will focus on deploying and configuring the Progress MOVEit Application Suite, including MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation, to mirror the existing production environment and ensure secure, synchronized replication between production and DR.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Progress MOVEit, secure file transfer solutions, DR architecture, PGP encryption, and WAF integration.

Key Responsibilities:

MOVEIT DR Site Build & Configuration

Install and configure the latest version of Progress MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Automation at the Texas DR site.
Ensure the DR environment mirrors the existing production MOVEit setup, including configurations, workflows, and security settings.
Validate MOVEit services, scheduled jobs, and automation workflows post-deployment.

Replication & Synchronization

Design and implement replication mechanisms between production and DR environments to keep data, configurations, and automation in sync.
Test and validate failover and recovery procedures to ensure DR readiness.

Security & WAF Integration

Reconfigure MOVEit environments (production and DR) to operate behind a Web Application Firewall (WAF), transitioning from the current public exposure.
Ensure secure network configurations, firewall rules, and SSL/TLS settings align with organizational security standards.
Support security hardening and best practices for secure file transfer.

PGP Key Migration

Lead the migration of PGP keys from legacy command-line PGP implementations to the PGP functionality built into the MOVEit suite.
Validate encryption, decryption, and key management processes post-migration.
Ensure no disruption to existing secure file transfer workflows during the transition.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

Provide clear documentation for DR architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions with internal teams to ensure long-term supportability.
