Role: VP/Digital Engineering Lead

Role Summary
The VP/Digital Engineering Lead for North America will define and lead the technology vision for large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This executive role blends deep engineering expertise with strategic solutioning, innovation leadership, and strong customer engagement. The leader will architect, propose, and deliver modern digital platforms using cloud-native, AI-enabled, and engineering-first approaches, while clearly articulating business value to both technical and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end solution architecture for complex, multi-year digital transformation programs across industries.
Define and guide the adoption of modern architectures, including microservices, API-first, event-driven, and cloud-native systems.
Remain hands-on when required, leading proofs of concept, architecture reviews, and solution validations.

Drive adoption of AI and GenAI across the engineering lifecycle, embedding intelligent automation, AI-assisted development, and quality acceleration into SDLC practices.
Incubate and scale innovative accelerators, reusable frameworks, and platforms leveraging AI, ML, and automation.

Lead technical solution design, effort estimation, and proposal development for RFPs, proactive pursuits, and strategic client engagements.
Present architecture and solution strategies to CIOs, CTOs, architects, and business leaders with clarity and confidence.
Partner with account and delivery leadership to shape digital roadmaps and identify new growth opportunities.

Provide architectural oversight and governance to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and client technology strategies.
Mentor and guide delivery teams in applying modern engineering practices such as DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud-native development, and API-driven design.

Build and scale digital engineering capabilities across North America, spanning full-stack engineering, cloud modernization, and intelligent automation.
Collaborate with global Centers of Excellence and innovation teams to develop reusable assets, frameworks, and GenAI enablers.
Required Experience & Skills
18+ years of experience in software engineering, digital solution architecture, and senior technology leadership roles.
Demonstrated success leading solution architecture, proposal responses, and executive-level customer presentations for large digital transformation programs.
Strong expertise in modern architectural patterns, including microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, containers, serverless, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Hands-on experience with application modernization, full-stack development, and DevSecOps practices.
Proven exposure to GenAI and AI-assisted engineering, including LLM integration, intelligent automation, and developer productivity tooling.
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to connect business objectives to technical execution.
Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach in complex and fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior leadership experience in pre-sales, solutioning, or portfolio ownership for digital or application engineering services.
Experience delivering industry-specific digital transformations (e.g., Healthcare, Manufacturing, BFSI, Retail).
Cloud and architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, TOGAF, SAFe, or equivalent).
Track record of thought leadership through publications, innovation frameworks, or GenAI-driven engineering solutions.
