Sr. Director – Quality Assurance (QA)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all QA and testing initiatives across application development teams.

• Define and execute enterprise QA strategy, standards, and governance.

• Manage large-scale testing efforts across web, mobile, APIs, integrations, and backend systems.

• Ensure quality across complex e-commerce and digital delivery platforms with multiple dependencies.

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Business stakeholders.

• Drive QA best practices within Agile / Scrum / SAFe environments.

• Oversee test automation strategy, frameworks, and execution.

• Ensure release readiness, risk mitigation, and production stability.

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing QA teams across the organization.

• Provide executive-level reporting on quality metrics, risks, and outcomes.

• Support continuous improvement across tools, processes, and testing methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in Quality Assurance / Testing at a Director or Senior Director level.

• Proven experience leading QA in large-scale, enterprise Agile environments.

• Strong background in e-commerce platforms, digital ordering, delivery, and complex integrations.

• Demonstrated success managing end-to-end testing across distributed teams.

• Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.

• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume transaction environments.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% to client sites (Louisville & Atlanta).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail, QSR, food delivery, or consumer-facing digital platforms.

• Strong knowledge of test automation tools, frameworks, and QA metrics.

• Prior experience in contract-to-hire leadership roles.
