This person will lead improvement efforts in digital accessibility across all UC locations. Experience with accessibility is required.
Candidate should have 3-5 years of program management experience and accessibility knowledge

Position Overview:

The Program Manager will lead a systemwide pilot of a PDF remediation tool and to help build scalable processes to improve digital accessibility across the UC system.

Grow our systemwide accessibility program to:
Implement and support PDF accessibility remediation tool pilot and track progress systemwide.
Develop playbooks and job aides for scalable and consistent remediation of identified accessibility risks.
Evaluate and develop intake and prioritization framework for new accessibility risks. o Create and deliver systemwide communication program on importance of accessibility.
These initiatives will require the candidate:
Lead planning and execution of accessibility initiatives.
Develop SOPs, guidelines, reports, and governance materials.
Evaluate accessibility testing tools and coordinate pilots.
Facilitate working groups and training sessions.
Document current practices and improvement opportunities.
Create change-management and communication plans.

Strong knowledge of digital accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508, ADA).
Experience leading digital accessibility or compliance-driven programs.
Strong documentation skills.
Excellent facilitation abilities.
Experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives.
