Qualifications/ required skills:
Experience as a WebSphere/ Middleware Administrator
Capable of creating and managing WebSphere Application Server clusters.
Experienced in configuring SSL on WebSphere Application Server, managing SSL certificates.
Installation and configuration of applications in JBoss, Informatica, OpenText engine Mule, AMQ projects
Experience with web-based applications, SOA (Services Oriented Architectures), and web application servers, e.g., WebLogic, WebSphere
Proficient in managing WebSphere Application Server on both Linux and Windows environments.
Experience creating scripts (Command line scripting, WsAdmin, Shell, PowerShell)
Experience with process documentation and documentation tools, e.g., Visio
Experience with configuring, installing and administration of ESB products such as Mule ESB, AMQ
Experienced in configuring SSL between WebSphere Application Server and Web Server.
Experienced as an MQ administrator managing queue managers, queues, channels, logging, and backups/restores.
Understanding of J2EE applications and web services.
Strong understanding of network file systems o Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Skilled in planning, installing, configuring both Standalone and Network Deployment of WebSphere Application Server.
Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills
Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, required from an accredited institution
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time
Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face
