Job Details

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a Data Analyst III to support a large enterprise in Columbia, SC. This hybrid role focuses on developing, analyzing, and maintaining complex reporting and database solutions that drive operational and financial decision-making.

What you ll do:

  • Generate internal and external reports to measure productivity, operational efficiency, and business performance.

  • Revise and enhance existing reports while developing new reporting based on evolving methodologies and business needs.

  • Analyze report outputs to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency, validating all reporting statistics.

  • Design, code, and maintain complex database programs for data extraction, analysis, and decision support.

  • Train employees and managers on reporting tools, database programs, and analytical systems.

  • Support recurring and ad-hoc reporting needs, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent delivery.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business processes and translate them into actionable reporting solutions.

What you need:

  • Research and analysis experience (6+ years preferred)

Technical Requirements

  • Strong SQL experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI

  • Experience with DB2, SQL, relational databases

  • Familiarity with Visual Basic, Macros, and report automation

  • Preferred: Tableau, Power Automate, Python, GitHub, MS Access, SAS
