We are seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer with solid experience designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals with 2-5 years of cloud engineering experience who can collaborate across teams, automate cloud operations, and help scale secure, resilient cloud environments. This is an opportunity that will require on-site work, full-time during normal business hours. Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor, or independent consulting arrangements.
Key Responsibilities - Cloud Architecture & Deployment: Build, configure, and maintain cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Automation & IaC: Use Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates to automate infrastructure deployments.
- System Monitoring & Optimization: Identify performance issues, monitor cloud workloads, and optimize for cost and efficiency.
- Security & Governance: Implement IAM, encryption, networking controls, and compliance best practices.
- DevOps Collaboration: Support CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and release automation.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, SOPs, and cloud environment diagrams.
R equired Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of hands-on cloud engineering experience.
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPC, VPN, load balancers).
Preferred Qualifications - Cloud certifications (AWS Associate, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Platform Associate).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or similar container platforms.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus).
- Exposure to cloud cost management (FinOps) or security frameworks.
- Strong problem?solving and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
