Job Details

We are seeking an experienced UX Content Manager to play a critical role in elevating and enhancing the user experience across Ameriprise Financial's owned and operated channels. This individual will develop intuitive and streamlined user journeys that foster greater engagement and brand affinity while meeting key KPIs that drive our business forward.

The UX Content Manager will be responsible for the following:

Delivering exceptional UX content experiences: Work closely with Product Owners, Marketing Managers and others to articulate marketing objectives, determine relevant content, and coordinate resources to plan, write, edit, design, present, test and improve content.

Robust collaboration with UX and Design teams: Provide content-led strategies and UX content to optimize user flows and enable best practices.

Translating content strategy into content requirements: Determine UX content experience solutions that meet consumer expectations.

Contributing to the development of a content strategy: Partnering across multiple platforms and channels to support the goals of the marketing department and the firm.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in web development teams working in close collaboration with information architects, business analysts, user experience designers, developers, project managers and results analysts.
  • Proficient in UX copywriting with a strong user-focus. Ability to write and edit usable buttons, form names, headlines, summaries and other micro-messaging such as user tips, home page highlights and more.
  • Demonstrated understanding of impacts to content in an evolving digital environment. This includes basic technical knowledge of web publishing, responsive design, information architecture, interactive design principles, web usability, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, search, taxonomy, and metadata.
  • Experience in analyzing and applying information from multiple sources including consumer trends, competitive and market challenges, and user experience labs.
  • Familiarity with content management and project collaboration systems.
  • Superior communication skills, including delivering presentations to senior leaders and various sized groups.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to effectively manage multiple priorities concurrently and thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Journalism, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experienced in content strategy, management, creation, writing, and editing.
  • Financial services or similarly regulated industry experience.
  • Familiarity with agile project management.
  • Experienced using Figma and creating mobile app content

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $91,600 - $123,700 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
