Description – Help Desk Support Specialist (Network Systems)
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Support Specialist to provide daily operational support and maintenance for network systems, including wireless and VoIP. This role ensures stable and dependable network services across multiple platforms through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration.
Job at a glance:

11-month contract (Possibility of temp to perm)
$27/hr + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
On-site (Alpharetta, Georgia 30005)

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for network systems (LAN/WAN, wireless, VoIP).
Proactively monitor network performance to ensure stability and reliability.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain computer networks and related hardware/software.
Collaborate with network facility teams and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
Utilize network management applications to identify and resolve network faults.
Ensure seamless data and telecommunications access for customers across locations.

Required Skills:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent technical certification/experience.
3+ years of IT experience in infrastructure/network environments.
Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, wireless, and VoIP technologies.
Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
