Systems Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Systems Design Engineer to support end-to-end engineering activities across complex technical projects. The role involves design support, technical documentation, system configuration, testing, and final deliverables within a content and technology–driven environment.

This position is highly dynamic and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders, ranging from early-stage technical planning through deployment and user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support system architecture planning, equipment evaluation, and technical selection.

• Develop design concepts, diagrams, and technical documentation.

• Participate in design discussions and stakeholder review sessions.

• Assist with system setup, validation, testing, and deployment activities.

• Deliver accurate final documentation and project close-out materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

• 3+ years of experience in system design, integration, or deployment within a technical environment.

• Working knowledge of networking, video, audio, and control systems.

• Familiarity with IP-based media workflows and industry standards.

• Understanding of fiber-based infrastructure installations.

• Proficiency with design and documentation tools, including CAD software.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to modern IP media communication protocols.

• Experience with infrastructure planning and facility coordination.

• Familiarity with asset or infrastructure management databases.

• Experience using diagramming tools such as Visio.
