Role Summary

The Lead Software Engineer will lead and support complex Pega-based application design and development initiatives, with a focus on customer service platforms. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development, and close collaboration across development, testing, and production support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to complex Pega design and development projects
• Apply Pega architecture, security frameworks, and service interfaces
• Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions
• Ensure systems are scalable, reusable, and maintainable
• Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve development and production issues
• Monitor and optimize system performance
• Collaborate with development, testing, and support teams
• Provide end-user and emergency production support as needed

Required Qualifications

• 8 10 years of hands-on experience with Pega (7/8/24)
• Strong background in Pega application development or systems analysis
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL, web technologies, and RDBMS
• Ability to debug Spring Boot microservices
• Strong system analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities

Nice to Have

• Pega CLSA certification
• Experience with Selenium automation testing
• SME-level expertise in a specific application area
