Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on M&A Project Manager to lead and manage merger and acquisition initiatives from start to finish. This role focuses on execution, coordination, and integration rather than pure financial modeling. The ideal candidate is comfortable being onsite every day, working closely with leadership, legal teams, finance, and operations to ensure smooth deal execution and post-merger integration.
This is a fully onsite role based in the North Bay Area, and the candidate must be available to be in-person from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities
Own and manage M&A projects end-to-end, from initial planning through post-merger integration
Coordinate due diligence activities across finance, legal, HR, IT, and operations teams
Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
Act as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders and external partners such as legal advisors, bankers, and consultants
Drive post-merger integration activities including systems, processes, teams, and operating models
Track milestones, issues, and action items, ensuring deadlines are met
Prepare clear status updates, reports, and presentations for senior leadership
Ensure alignment between deal objectives and business strategy during execution
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong project management experience, preferably in M&A or large cross-functional initiatives
Solid understanding of M&A processes, due diligence, and post-merger integration
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teams and senior stakeholders
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
Ability to work in a fast-paced, in-person environment
Experience working closely with legal, finance, and operational teams
Preferred Background
Experience in corporate M&A, integration management, consulting, investment banking, or private equity operations
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
Prior experience managing onsite, complex business initiatives
