Job Title: Linux Administrator - Remote / Telecommute

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems in production and development environments.
Develop and maintain Python-based automation, tooling, and scripts to improve operational efficiency.
Utilize Regex for log parsing, automation, data extraction, and troubleshooting workflows.
Support, configure, and optimize systems hosted in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) including compute, networking, IAM, logging, and monitoring.
Collaborate with SecOps and infrastructure teams to implement and enforce security best practices, policies, and operational guardrails.
Participate in incident response, including detection, triage, analysis, and remediation.
Maintain proper documentation, runbooks, and process improvements for ongoing operations.
Support CI/CD, observability, and operational reliability initiatives in alignment with enterprise standards.

Required Skills And Experience:

2 3 years of Linux Administration experience (system troubleshooting, configuration, service management).
2 3 years of Python / programming experience, including scripting, automation, and tool development.
Bonus: Strong Regex skills for text parsing and log analysis.
2 3 years of Google Cloud Platform experience, including IAM, monitoring, logging, and general cloud operations.
1+ year SecOps experience, including incident response, security monitoring, and operational security processes

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and automation frameworks.
Exposure to cloud security concepts, compliance practices, and infrastructure hardening.
Understanding of log analytics, SIEM platforms, or observability tooling.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Clear verbal and written communication.
Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
Self-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
