Summary

We are looking for Materials Handler (Heavy) for our client in Altavista, VA

Job Title: Materials Handler (Heavy)

Job Location: Altavista, VA

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Loads, unloads, and moves materials (crates, boxes and raw materials) within or near the plant, yard or work site.
Reads and follows work orders and/or oral instructions.
Uses hand tools to open containers.
Transports materials using a handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow or other devices.

Additional Experience Required:

Data entry using ORACLE (ADMS).
Measures and weighs materials using a weighing scale and ruler or similar devices.
Computer Skills.
Experience with shipping (UPS/FedEx) and receiving (preferred).
Must operate an electric or battery-operated forklift and/or other heavy machinery.
High School graduate or equivalent.
1-2 Years experience.
