We are seeking an experienced Oracle SOA Specialist II to join our team onsite in Houston, TX. This temporary, full-time role (Jan-Jul 2026) focuses on development and support of Oracle SOA Suite 12c, Oracle Service Bus, and custom Java-based integrations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with SOA Suite, Java/JEE, BPEL orchestration, SOAP/REST web services, and Oracle databases. Responsibilities include developing and testing integrations, resolving UAT issues, collaborating with business teams, and completing change management tasks. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical solutions for business users.

- Provide technical development and support for Oracle SOA Suite applications and custom interfaces using Java (Spring Boot/Spring MVC)
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and create specification documents
- Perform unit testing and resolve issues reported during UAT
- Complete all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements
- Participate in project-related stand-ups and Teams meetings
- Apply industry-standard project management principles, methodologies, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
5+ years of experience with Oracle SOA Suite 12c (12.2.1.4)
5+ years of development experience using Java, JEE (J2E)
5+ years of experience with Oracle Service Bus (Proxy Services, Business Services, Pipeline)
5+ years of experience with SOA Composites using BPEL Orchestration
5+ years of experience with SOA Suite JCA Adapters (AQ, FTP, File, DB, Oracle Applications Adapters)
5+ years of experience with SOAP and REST Web Services (XML/JSON/XQuery/XSLT)
5+ years of experience with Oracle Database or similar RDBMS
1+ year experience with Tomcat Webserver (preferred)
2+ years experience with Spring/Spring Boot/Spring MVC (preferred)
