About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled JavaScript Engineer with deep understanding of JavaScript internals and modern server-side patterns. The ideal candidate will be an expert in building distributed, event-driven systems using Node.js and cutting-edge messaging and communication technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance JavaScript applications.
Implement event-driven and reactive programming patterns to build responsive systems.
Integrate and optimize real-time communication using WebSockets, WebRTC, SSE, or MQTT.
Work with message queues such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Streams, NATS, or Pulsar for building distributed systems.
Apply horizontal scaling strategies including load balancing, clustering, and sharding to handle large-scale workloads.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure application reliability, scalability, and observability.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and contribute to technical best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and deep understanding of runtime internals (event loop, memory model, async patterns).
Hands-on experience with Node.js and core JavaScript libraries.
Knowledge of event-driven system design and reactive programming concepts.
Experience with real-time communication and message brokering technologies.
Solid grasp of system scaling, distributed architecture, and fault-tolerance principles.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with microservices architecture or serverless computing.
Open-source visibility or contributions.
Exposure to performance optimization, profiling, and debugging Node.js applications.
