Summary:The Cybersecurity Training and Awareness Instructional Designer will work as part of the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance team and will interface with other departments, including Learning and Development, Restaurant Operations, Communications, and others.
During this assignment, the Cybersecurity Training and Awareness Instructional Designer will be responsible for:
- Creating online cybersecurity awareness training that aligns with industry standards, compliance requirements, and organizational policies (e.g., phishing resilience, secure data handling, password hygiene, incident reporting) to reduce organizational human risk.
- Partnering with Cybersecurity and subject matter experts to convert technical content into engaging, actionable training for non-technical audiences.
- Reviewing existing training to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with standards, requirements, and policies.
- Assisting in the development of training communication plans to maximize user compliance and completion rates.
- Supporting annual and ongoing cybersecurity training and awareness campaigns, events, and internal communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements (Must-Haves):- 3-5+ years of experience in instructional design or corporate learning roles, including developing and deploying online learning courses using tools and standards such as Articulate, SCORM, and Cornerstone.
- 2+ years of experience with graphic design and visual communication tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Experience in communications, such as marketing communications, internal/corporate communications, etc.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity awareness programs (e.g., phishing simulations, security campaigns).
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity-related frameworks (NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.) and secure behavior principles.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
