Workday Project Manager (Techno-Functional)

Role Summary
We are looking for a techno-functional Workday Project Manager who can actively analyze, recommend, and shape solutions, not just execute tasks. This role requires deep understanding of both Workday functionality and technical integrations, with the ability to advise stakeholders and influence design decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Workday initiatives across HCM, Financials, Payroll, and integrations
• Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions
• Proactively recommend system design, configuration, and integration approaches
• Partner with technical teams on data flows, integrations, security, and reporting
• Identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities early in the lifecycle
• Guide stakeholders on Workday best practices and trade-offs
• Own delivery outcomes across scope, timeline, and quality

Required Profile

• Strong techno-functional Workday experience (functional knowledge plus technical understanding)
• Hands-on exposure to integrations, data migration, reporting, and security concepts
• Ability to challenge requirements and propose better solutions
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
• Experience operating with limited direction and high accountability

• Workday implementation or advisory/consulting background
• Post-production optimization or Workday roadmap planning experience
