Job Title: SAP CO / FERC Lead Consultant (Utilities)

Duration - 12 month

Location - Allentown,   PA (Hybrid – Travel to client site every alternate week )

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Controlling (CO) & FERC Lead Consultant with a strong Utilities industry background. This is a client-facing leadership role requiring hands-on SAP CO expertise, deep understanding of FERC regulatory requirements, and the ability to lead and guide offshore development and configuration teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Lead Consultant for SAP CO and FERC-related solutions in a regulated utilities environment.
• Lead client cost flow and regulatory design, ensuring alignment with FERC regulations.
• Design, build, and optimize end-to-end cost flows for regulated utility operations.
• Configure and support SAP CO components, including:
• Cost Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Allocations and Assessments
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP Project Systems (PS) and General Ledger (FI).
• Provide functional guidance to offshore teams for SAP CO configurations and FERC-related developments.
• Drive and oversee development activities, ensuring quality delivery and adherence to requirements.
• Serve as a primary client-facing consultant, clearly communicating design decisions, solutions, and progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Controlling (CO).
• Working knowledge and practical experience with FERC regulations and their implementation within SAP.
• Proven experience in the Utilities industry (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of regulated utility cost flows and controlling processes.
• Experience leading offshore teams and coordinating configuration and development work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience working in client-facing consulting roles.

Must-Have Skills

• Solid understanding of FERC concepts and regulatory cost flows in SAP.
• Utilities project experience with regulated cost structures.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Project Systems (PS).
• Knowledge of integration with Power Plant or asset-related utility solutions.
