Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Contract to Hire ( Only W2)

Responsibilities:

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer performs a variety of manual and automated testing activities to include: Application programming interface (API) level testing, system testing, black box functional testing, UI testing, and white box testing. As the Sr Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design test strategies, develop test tools and implement manual and automated test cases to ensure highest quality deliverables for maintenance and new feature releases.

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will:

• Interact with business units, development, operations, project management to ensure proper test coverage and level of testing is established
• Review requirements, specifications, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and automated tests to be developed
• Create and update test automation standards, policies, and procedures; write and execute detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents
• Facilitate and prioritize resolution of defects, and track through retest to closure
• Define and track quality assurance KPIs and metrics
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years experience supporting a full product release cycle, including support of deployments to production
• Strong experience with test and defect management
• Demonstrated experience working in agile development environments
• Proficiency with automation frameworks and automation tools
• Ability to create and update test automation standards, policies, test scripts
