DescriptionThis position has a target start date of summer 2026.We offer you a variety of interesting and challenging opportunities in Radiological/Nuclear engineering.
You will work with a multi-discipline engineering project team engaged in the design and engineering of upgrades and modifications to existing nuclear power plants in the following areas:
- Radiological dose calculations
- Shielding design calculations
- Radiation source term calculations
Working under the direction of senior engineers, this position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Radiological/Nuclear Engineering.
QualificationsWe do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.Essential skills and experience:
- This position requires active enrollment in a BS/MS in Nuclear Engineering with a strong academic background and coursework in radiological analysis
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valued but not required skills and experience:
- Enrollment in an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program
- Prior, related internship or co-op experience
- Experience with some of the following programs:
- MCNP
- RADTRAD
- MicroShield
- ORIGEN
- ARCON96

Compensation Range$17.50 - $27.00
