Deploy and manage Red Hat OpenShift on:
- HPE VM Essentials / VMware
Support:
- ElasticSearch clusters
- Spark services
- Device ingestion APIs
Manage:
- Helm, Operators, ConfigMaps, Secrets
- Node scaling, storage mounts, network routing
Hybrid Cloud Operations
Operate workloads across:
- AWS (EKS, S3, RDS, OpenSearch, EMR)
- On-prem (OpenShift, Elastic, Postgres, HPE VMs)
Migrate:
- Applications
- Data pipelines
- Storage from AWS to on-prem
ElasticSearch & Data Platform Ops:
Deploy and operate ElasticSearch on OpenShift Support:
- Index lifecycle management
- High-volume ingestion (20M+ records/min)
- Cluster tuning, shard management, scaling
Observability & Reliability Implement:
Alerts for:
- OpenShift
- Elastic
- Network
- Storage
Drive:
- Incident response
- Root cause analysis
- Performance tuning
Infrastructure-Aware DevOps
This DevOps engineer must work with:
- HPE DL360 / DL380
- NetApp / HPE MSA / Alletra
- Cisco switches
- Nokia networking
- A10 Load Balancers
- Juniper Firewalls
- You will ensure CI/CD pipelines and OpenShift clusters correctly integrate with real hardware, real networks, and real firewalls.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP) are a plus.
GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed in Basking Ridge, NJ is $110,000 to $120,000, and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good-faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower.
