Job Title: Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid)
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant (technical-only, not functional) to support a new Oracle HCM Cloud implementation. This role requires a strong hands-on technical professional with deep experience in coding, integrations, reports, data conversions, development, and testing within Oracle HCM Cloud.
Note: This is not a functional consultant role. Candidates must be technically strong and experienced working under the hood.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for interfaces, reports, conversions, and extensions
Design and document RICEW objects and solution blueprints
Design, develop, and implement inbound and outbound integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Build and support OTBI and BI Publisher (BIP) reports
Manage data conversions using HDL, HCM Extracts, UCM, and MFT
Customize and personalize Oracle HCM Cloud application pages using sandbox environments
Lead on-prem to Oracle Fusion HCM conversion projects
Support Oracle quarterly releases and recommend system enhancements
Coordinate with implementation partners and ensure delivery quality
Lead testing efforts, prepare test cases, and provide user training
Provide post-go-live and production support
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree
10+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst / Developer
3+ years supporting Oracle HCM Cloud modules (Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Retirement)
Experience with multiple Oracle HCM implementations
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Expertise in OTBI and BI Publisher reporting
Strong SQL / PL-SQL skills; Python is a plus
Experience training and mentoring technical teams
Experience working with implementation partners
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on techno-functional Oracle HCM Cloud experience
2+ full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations
Consulting or Systems Integrator (SI) background
Oracle HCM Cloud Certification preferred
Experience supporting Oracle quarterly updates and new feature adoption
