Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled DataStage Developers to join our data engineering team. This role requires deep hands-on experience with IBM DataStage, strong SQL development skills, and expertise with DB2 databases. Experience in the financial services domain is a strong plus. This is a critical, fast-moving requirement with immediate interviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
• Build robust and scalable data pipelines to support enterprise data integration needs.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries across DB2 and other relational databases.
• Perform data mapping, transformation logic design, and job scheduling.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to understand requirements.
• Conduct performance tuning, error handling, and job optimization within DataStage.
• Work onsite with cross-functional teams and participate in in-person ceremonies, design sessions, and peer reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage (Parallel & Server jobs).
• Strong experience with SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Solid knowledge of DB2 or other enterprise-grade relational databases.
• Experience working with large datasets and high-volume ETL pipelines.
• Strong debugging and data analysis skills.
